⑱ 蛭子神社
出羽島漁村センターのそばにある、漁業の神様「えびす様」を祀る神社。
古くは現在の出羽神社の場所に金比羅神社とともに祀られていましたが、その後、西側に新しく建てられました。
海上安全や豊漁を願う信仰は、漁業で栄えた出羽島の人々の暮らしと深く結びついています。
島の歴史と海への感謝の気持ちを感じられる場所です。
⑱ Ebisu Shrine
Located near the Tebajima Fishing Village Centre, Ebisu Shrine is dedicated to Ebisu, the god of fishing and good fortune.
Originally, it stood alongside Konpira Shrine on the site of today’s Teba Shrine, before being relocated to a new site to the west.
For generations, islanders have prayed here for safe voyages and abundant catches, reflecting Tebajima’s deep connection to the sea.
A peaceful place to experience the island’s history and its people’s gratitude for the ocean.
